A young Irish Traveller poses with kittens. In 1965 Alen McWeeny came upon a group of Irish Travellers (then known as “Tinkers”) who had established an encampment near Cherry Orchard Fever Hospital outside Dublin. He won their trust, and over the course of five years, documented their lives. Fascinating work.
